Back in the 90s, I used to worry about wearing out this album and not being able to replace it. The internet fixed that,

still gives me goosebumps every time I hear "jupiter jazz" - mad mike was channeling some high frequency consciousness when he created this slice of musical genius - oh to have been a fly on the wall in the studio when he wrote this ! anyone know if Jeff mills involved at this point or if a solo mad mike excursion ?

Hard to believe this is 1992. Incredible record, one foot in rave, one foot in breakbeat, three feet in techno, timeless

Laurent Garnier dropped Amazon at the end of a very very messy night at none other than the Hacienda in Manchester and knowing what the track was when it started to come in was just amazing , a real moment in club history for me... tore the roof off and let the all the lights come on for the duration....WOW moment......

I know that Amazon and Jupiter Jazz get most of the hype for this release, but I think Cosmic Traveler should not be overlooked - in fact, for me it's the gem on this EP. The smooth, swinging percussion and proper square bass line are reminiscent of early Mr. Fingers releases, only this track is really dense, perhaps, by comparison. If you like Larry Heard's seminal classic "Can you Feel It", then you'll be all over this slab of techno brilliance. Deep clubs will still swing to this one almost 20 years later. Take a well-deserved bow (again), Mike.
