Gunjack and Regis both shine with their respective remixes. Each of them delivers a pulsating number, with driving percussion and nasty, fat bass lines. Gunjack's remix just relentlessly pounds on with the siren like lead hook is constantly going crazy atop the banging kick.
Regis goes absolutely crazy, with a track that sounds like an audio mental hospital. It's loaded with constantly morphing factory machine sounds, or whatever it may remind you of. Very loud and totally off the hook, with a massive and distorted lead which is coupled with disturbing and random noises scattered all over the background. Hard techno with industrial influences. To play with the bass high up and loud.
Gayle Sun and The Advent both disappoint with pretty standard techno tracks. They're not bad, but they don't stand out like the other two, but rather stay within the typical line of techno; both tracks go nowhere despite being nicely arranged, building up and climaxing, but fail to mesmerize and make you want to hold your breath like the energy of Regis' and Gunjack's tracks do. All the elements are there, but you've heard stuff like that countless time. Overall, well worth if only for the two fantastic remixes mentioned above.
