- It works beautifully, a breath of fresh air away from the often tedious cliche'd instrument use in trance. Thinking outside the box here, very soulful work, definitely a marmite selection & clever with it.
- Edited 5 years agoI think the whole release is a co-production between Kai "MacDonald" Franz and Torsten Stenzel, but Tomasso is right with the association of the studios with the respective owners.
This tune, in fact, takes the Sax sample from "Tidal" by Meridian [https://www.discogs.com/Meridian-Tidal/release/204735], which has been re-released as a remix for "Liquid Skies". The original track, written by Werner Weimar, was released on Stenzel's Planet Love Records and although not much widely known found some rotation in Portugal. - Is there a version without the saxophone solo?
If I wanted to hear a George Michael song I'd listen to George Michael. Saxophones do not belong in Trance.
