This album has really aged well. Makes a really good underwater themed IDM listening experience. A classic IDM album in my book. referencing Stay Down (LP, Album) WARP LP 58
For me a bit too slow, too cheesy, too poppy. I prefer the clearer sounds and structures like on Stockwell Steppas and Blue Sparks.referencing Stay Down (LP, Album) WARP LP 58
Not groundbreaking in anyway, but a pleasant enough listen for a dull Sunday evening still.referencing Stay Down (LP, Album) WARP LP 58
Their best if you ask me. The cover image really matches the music perfectly.

Major hit of the electronic underground. Amazing that they didn't have to repress this. A major expo of how the current idm sound at that time could be harnessed back into a more humanized analog sound with groove with absolute uniqueness. Many a fond memory listening to this album with friends and just enjoying my early 20s. Ambient noodlings with trip hop, electro and house. Casting a big net to find those who resonate with this amazing sound. referencing Stay Down (CD, Album) WARP CD 58
The tracks here are not quite as strong, attention grabbing or inventive as those found on the 'Virus With Shoes' EP, but if you enter this green-tinged, murky underwater land (with added squid ink of course) any IDMhead should be thoroughly satisfied with its immersive qualities. Nothing raucous or abrasive here, all is languid, strange and full of weird currents tugging your brain follicles to new depths.referencing Stay Down (LP, Album) WARP LP 58
Without a doubt their finest and most accessible release to date.
a classic piece of electronica.- Edited 2 years ago

Straight to the point fuzzy electro mashed with cool ambientish-techno/Idm and a cool 'Drexciya' aqua moody atmosphere. Deep, melodic, abstract, groovy its all here. Some tracks also resemble the classic coolness of downtempo atmospheric sounds of early Sabres Of Paradise/Two Lone Swordsmen too. Top stuff! referencing Stay Down (LP, Album) WARP LP 58
This entire LP is devoted to creating the Two Lone Swordsmen experience for the listener.
A perfectly great album to track down and to share often.
