Notes
Recorded in the Crypt Of Rays throughout 2003 and 2004.
Originally self released as a demo in 2005 in an edition of about 100 copies.
This re-release includes the original 18 page booklet professionally printed, with new poster, in DVD packaging with slipcase.
This release is usually referred to as "Mord Und Totschlag", but it's misprinted (intentionally?) on all occasions on the release.
"The Book Of Lies" (track 3) is directly attributable to the text of Aleister Crowley of whose work, similarly titled, is the basis for the ideas presented herein. Accomodations are thusly assigned to this Tome for further illumination or A-illumination.
"Immeasurably Dreary" (track 7) is directly inspired from the curses of J.R.R. Tolkien of which many find similar interest. Most interesting in his Ouevre is the specific example above, of which also forms the nexus of the folk drone, "Heartless and Miserable" (track 4).
"Psalm Of Misery" (track 9) is deeply inspired by the writings of Georges Bataille, of which forms the nucleus of this project. In particular, reference to his writings around the formulation of L'Acephale in the 1930's forms the crux of this piece.
