It's thought provoking musical material that strokes my mind everytime I indulge and delve mentally in it's beauty and DAPHNIS(keeler's gap) is indeed A beautifully composed track of which I have already addressed.
A track that is undoubtedly deliciously infectious upon listening that track was the only stop for me on this ever so unmoving journey investigating all the #20 different soundforms...similar to or my take on the word lifeforms as my venture into what was then the unknown which later became the 'UNINSPIRING' journey into X-102-rediscovers THE RINGS OF SATURN

DAPHNIS keeler's gap is A track that is highly recommended by me for a listen but moreover for an actual purchase ownership of this album for just that track alone is in my humble opinion mandatory only for those who really know and are seeking out what it truely means when one utters the words...

agree with d_former - if you're a Mills/Banks fan this is an essential for your library ;-)

re: Track 12, what I've found is that you can play this in a normal CD player, but it is reversed! Not having a cd-j with reverse function, I ripped the whole cd to hard disk, loaded Track12 in my sample editor, reversed it, then recompiled the cd for normal play.
It sounds a lot better then!! ;-))

(maybe rename it "Ascending" ?!)

I'm surprised there is no comment concerning this release.
This album is a must have for the lovers of the "X" serie, including new tracks [only Mike Banks and Jeff Mills] and remastered tracks from the first album.
A piece of CD, people should know the particularity of this release:
The track 12 can't be listened... actually you have to go to the last minute of the track [the beginning] and play it reversed, from end to beginning...then you can listen the track!
Only for people using a CD player with the "reverse" fonction.
Crazyness!!!!
Essential, just Sci-Fi techno the way I like.
