I remember watching an interview with Nick talking about how to end the song.
That drum section that goes on for the last few minutes is him trying to bridge it into another chorus. Eventually he admitted he had to stop or the song would never be finished.
Quote: "You think you've heard Saltwater a thousand times? You haven't heard it as many times as I have"

Fantastic track, I even knew some classmates my age who were into metal or rap but they knew of or liked this one too. It reached a big audience years after it's release.

I still love the fact that Lange, the king of trance remixes, turned down remixing 'Saltwater'. His reason? The song was too perfect to be remixed.

This track is a prime example of how good electronic music was back in the late 90s. It just doesn’t get any better than this.

I re-discovered this song 12 years later while digging through my old techno cds, Finally found the Vinyl and fell in love with it all over again. Definately one of the Top-notch tracks from back in the day.
