Watching one of your favorite bands swing and miss is not easy.

On paper, it's a waking dream of everyone you'd want involved, collaborating. I was excited to learn what was in the works.

Maybe it sounds okay. Or good, or better. It doesn't matter, because the tunes simply do not deliver. At all.

The lads just could not produce a record that was at least ten percent of their prior output.

Far from the worst record you'll ever hear, but far, far away from the best of Chameleons' records.

At first, you'll think you just need some time to absorb and appreciate. But the hour never arrived for me.

This record was a true disappointment, and it never grew on me. I gave it many years.

Yet so many other of their tracks still bring tears, they are so good and strike that deep, emotional resonance. They were and are an incredible band. This record does not portray that.
