"get this for this" "get this for that" bro get the cd for the good fkn whole thing

but yes this is a good package, spreading the 10 tracks that fit on 4 discs

it's no timeless but i like how this mixes the ambient sections from it with new harder sounds

Just buy this for 'Dragonfly' if nothing else. A gorgeous trip of a tune that's worth the entry price alone, it still sounds fresh even now. A song that's stayed with me over the years and still takes me away from the everyday grind of life for a while, it's like Pat Metheney jamming with Photek, that's what music should be about! Nuff said....
Its also a shame Mother isn't on vinyl as I really like that track and the Drum sections are brilliant.

This is worth picking up at very cheap prices, just for "Fury - The Origin."

As pointed out below, some copies (I'm guessing acetate) were circulating among DJs in late '93 - both Doc Scott and Jack Frost played this at the Amnesia New Years Eve event at The Edge (I was there - great night out).

I prefer "The Origin" to the 2 on 1 version, plus, it's dirt cheap for what should be regarded as an essential piece of late '93 darkcore / proto-drum and bass.

Pretty sure “The fury-origin” was produced in 1993-or at least a version very very similar to it (and definitely not to be mistaken for the version on the 2 on 1 Moving Shadow series). It’s the opening track one the Doc Scott tape for Amnesia House NYE 1993/1994. If so it predates the Mutant Jazz Trace Remix And basically births tech-step single handedly. Here’s the link for the mix check it out : https://youtu.be/WK7H90w7PcY

Nice album here. "Digital" is a great tune, with KRS flowin to some rugged beats and minimal (but effective) basslines.
"Temper Temper" is a dope tune as well. Introduces aspects of rock music incorporated with drum and bass.
"Crystal Clear" has great vocals that carry you through the song peacefully. Jazzy pianos, funky basslines etc...
"Letteroffate" is very different from the usual dnb you hear. There is no beat in this tune. Atmospheric pads suck you in, followed by gentle male vocals and piano. Kick ass tune to relax and smoke a spliff to.
All around, quality production from Goldie. Each record comes in its own jacket. Very nice and thick pressing as well. Don't sleep on this one. A must for any collection.
