Nice surprise! I bought this one for its interesting cover, expecting almost nothing, and got really pleased with the content. I'm not a Meat Loaf devotee however this new approach, with nice blues/psychedelic rock and soul, made me value his versatility and see him differently.- Edited 2 years agoNous sommes sur les débuts de l'inénarrable (et regretté) Meat Loaf.
Pas exactement l'album le plus connu d'entre tous et pourtant, pour moi, c'est une vraie réussite.
Il y a moins de grandiloquence ici. Nous sommes plutôt sur des compos courtes et efficaces aux accents pop, rock et même soul ("Who is the leader of the people" et "Sunshine").
L'enregistrement, le mastering et le pressage sont plutôt bons.
