Reviews
- Sounds great for a very early recording of VU. Note that Heroin and Black Angel Death Song are flip flopped on the actual LP. Label is incorrect.
- I have nothing to compare it to for this concert but it is listenable. It sounds to me like you were in the room, maybe towards the back or the side watching the show but not fully sold on the band. Most of the rest of the audience doesn't seem sold either, there are only a few hand claps between numbers! It certainly isn't a soundboard recording, but it is an interesting listen for the reasons in the description. Someone with more experience with other recordings of the show will have to elaborate. Set list is great, although incorrect to the jacket (submitted correction).
- Sound quality anyone? Guessing this is sourced from the VU&N expanded edition and not "Mastered from recently sourced tapes not comparable with any previous versions" as claimed, but would be great if it was true.
- Edited 6 years agothe labels on my copy's cassette are different, but the insert is the same. i'll upload pictures if i can get good ones.
