I’m sure there are die hard CC fans who have better informed opinions and can compare to other pressings and find flaws. But to me this sounds great. Totally happy with this pressing. Especially for the money, I can’t find anything to legitimately complain about. Excellent sounding record here.
Great pressing! Almost completely noise-free. I A/B'ed this versus my original CD on both of my systems (one high-end & one so-so) and the master sounds nigh identical. No more or less compression/limiting noticeable on either one. EQ seems almost identical except that the vinyl master may have a pinch less high-mids (though that only seemed apparent on one of my systems, so that could've been the cartridge/preamp talkin'.)
Such an awesome sounding album, not to mention the included double-sided poster, lyric sheet and awesome blood red poly-lined Metal Blade inner sleeve! This vinyl is abso-fkn-lutely worth the $20!!
