Reviews
- Very cool, very clean, very Kupper, all tracks offer something, from a cool backroom vibe to a more upfront jam with Stonk (played most in UK clubs I frequented). But it is those deep tracks that stand out, Planet K and Katerpillar have an infectious groove that make them hard to overlook when you're compiling a mix. My pressing is a decent quality too, all features and effects are clean, great production.
- Edited 17 years agoIf you're going to consider grabbing this then it should be for "Planet K". The other tracks are OK but this one track ebbs and flows on beautiful pads, a smooth keyboard "carpet" and a with very jazz-influenced flute riff. It reminds me of Frankie Knuckles' - The Whistle Song, but in it's own unique way. And, the percussive beat/breakdown near 2/3rds of the song is a very nice touch. Oh, so nice...
