- Eddie Matos (half of the DJ / Producers duo Mateo & Matos) delivers one hell of an album. This compilation is a collection of tracks released on 3 earlier EP's dating from the 1998-1999 era. Mateo & Matos are known for their soulfull disco rip off house tracks but on this solo project Eddie took it a bit further. All tracks have "disco-samples-R-us" written all over them but all adding to the effect. The ultimate collection of fat, funky, 4 to the floor sleazy disco house stompers. Feelgood factor 100 out of 100.
Not sure why Glasgow Underground preferred to release this on their more low profile Under The Counter sublabel but these tracks are sheer quality in the genre. Impossible not to smile and not to dance when hearing these tracks. Get it at all cost.
