- not sure i can add anything else to the praise below but 'kryoniks' is a stunning and beautiful album. so deep and lush and channeling a deep sense of melancholy. forever grateful for my friend who showed me this record.
- Perfect album like mesmerizing sounds of Mille Plateaux or early Kompakt. Absolutely flawless. Perfectly and expressive. Absolutely gorgeous. Simple and elegant.
- Amazing release. Words can describe how good this album is. Ambient sounds, no beats. Get it if you can. Favourite track? All of them..
- One of the greatest scandanavian ambient cds of all time. Perhaps teh best from Sweden. Ever.
What more can you say. The ideal meloncholly. Breathtaking. Amazing - Edited 4 years agoDrifting (Part I) is an exceptional, awe-inspiring piece of ambient... always, like a young tide, manages to bring the underwater contemplative mood and calm the restless terrestrial mind...
- Such a beautiful album! I listened to this over and over. Great to sleep too. Crazy as i researched in more of hendrik B's music and tbh its quite dire but to listen to kryoniks and not no who did it you would least expect henrik b as its beautiful ambient and well done! Altho most his music isnt my taste and tbh is pretty kang he is a genius just for this 1 album.
- Edited 18 years agoThis release is non beat oriented and does not even contain one single drum shot. Inspired by early Aphex Twin, Brian Eno (the inventor of the genre "ambient music"), and Jean Michel Jarre. The tracks are composed using various studio set ups at different locations during 1996-2002.Great layered tracks as mastered by Jesper Dahlback and Danny Howells.
- Edited 19 years agoThis is also on of the most beautiful albums i have ever heard. To me, it feels as if i was in a comfortable transparent capsule, sinking in a deep ocean and life is being presented to me in a beautiful dance... the last track is just soo amazing, such a miracle!
This is indeed, like veryone else has said a highly emotional album, and it really comes as a surpise to me. I am glad i found this little gem!! - Edited 9 months agoA friend of mine suggested this album and I thought that it was gonna be all techno because it's Henrik B, but I was mighty surprised & impressed when I listened to the album. Lush ambient soundscapes filled with such depth & emotion. The last track Birth really struck me hard, I was amazed by its sheer beauty and deep experimental noise that forms the track.
