Reviews
- Really surprised how expensive this record is...more than 100 euros, really ?
I guess i'm lucky having my own cd copy then.. - Well, my opinion of this release is very positive.
As one reviewer has already said, it has a time and a place, maybe even a particular mood to be in.
If you allow me to explain- I came to this album from Solar Fields very good mix/podcast from Seek Sick Sound, including Arcia.
Where, it stands out as quality and makes sense.
So much so I went and purchased the digital download available on a well known artist based website, which I am loath to name because it seems like advertising. - even for hardcore fans not recommendable since it's merely the acoustic part of a TV docu from swiss TV about rain forests. In combination with the visual part it's different, but this soundtrack consists of sounds from animals, rain and very few music, ...
Also for lovers of ambient sounds really back to the root elements boring. Sorry guys, I really worship your music but this release (without the visual part) is as dispensable as both AL Comet releases. If you have the rare chance to buy one on an auction, please send me a reply before offering and I'll send you an audio test. - Edited 19 years agoIf you know previos records of Young Gods, you'd be a bit surprised by listening to "Music For Artificial Clouds". No vocals (fortunately), no guitars, no noise. Pure ambinet and done damn well...
Some of the previous remixes were in this style, but now it's a masterpiece. If you like guys like Biosphere, you will love it too.
