Listen up people, yes, this is yet another jungle compilation, but if you're a true junglist you will know most of the tracks & artists on this set. But still, don't knock it! look at the tracklist and marvel at some of the biggest tunes of 93/94, there are a few edits but when you're mixing, who's gonna play the tracks right the way through anyway? but overall an excellent compilation and an almost perfect snapshot of the scene at the time. If you are new to, or still learmning your jungle history, start here, then work your way backwards or forward thru the artists & labels to get your jungle/drum & bass education...Seriously! I put this set on in the car for a bit of nostalgia, and the memories just came flooding back! Give it a go, cheap as chips, well mastered, even the vinyl edition thought volume is quite low because track count. I used to practice mixing the vinyl edition with itself as it came on 3 plates - did several mixtapes just using this 3x vinyl pack. FYi - I originally purchased the vinyl edition from Virgin megastore on release for just £9.95! Also check out the Jungle Mania 1&2 comps as well.
