Incredible sounding album!! Grab a copy to be blown away- Sounds great, plays great and is probably one of the more intimate albums. The etching is nothing special but of course more interesting than nothing.
- Well recorded, but can't stand this guy's songs. Just comes off as totally self-aware/pretentious. No thanks.
- A just wonderfull album. Great songs, just C.O. with a piano and sometimes a mouth organ and a Guitar. The Vinyl sounds absolut clean and warm. No background noises. Perfect 🍀
- Really pleased to have this one – and great with the extra tracks. I'm getting some crackly patches on track 2/side 3 though – anyone else had that?
- I know some were wondering about the bonus tracks. These are not the Salutations versions, these are just Conor, with acoustic guitar/harmonica, no drums, no bass etc, staying with the stripped down sound of the original release. hopefully that's clear enough.
- I was a bigger fan of Salutations when these 2 records had their releases so I never grabbed this album (I enjoy full band Conor the most) but went hunting for this today and got lucky. Really, really fantastic pressing. Clear, heavy, beautiful.
- Sounds fantastic, and this album is still quite overlooked in my view. We really don't deserve Nonesuch, who clearly put such care into their mastering and pressing. Pick this up if you see it out today (or any day).
