If you like Detroit techno, buy this.

Compilation should have included "Dancing Tides" (Yennek) IMO. One of his most beautiful tracks.

Collection of the highlights of Kenny Larkins 1991 to 1997 period. Includes Vanguard EP with most of the stand out tracks from Azimuth, Metaphor and his Dark Comedy release "seven days". If you do not know Kenny Larkin or Detroit techno than this is a must purchase. Because once you hear a few cuts by Kenny you will purchase everything else. This will save you lts of money. Boy are you guys lucky these days! I spent a good $200 tracking down most of his records and CDs since I started purchasing music online about 10 years ago. The Japan release looks a bit more in depth with more tracks. Really surprised not to see My Travels, Butterflies, Without a Sound or Catatonic on here. 4 of my favorite Larkin tracks. Yet they have 2 mixes of Track?? But then on the Japanese release you don't have Soul Man so always some collecting to do for you guys. Its never easy being a collector is it?? ;)

All and all a fine collection of some of the best Detroit techno probably only bettered by quality and in volume by Carl Craig (Derrick May has a pass for his inspiration).

A fine techno capsule here. Tedra gets me every time.
