      Always loved the McGarrigles, A great listen and decent pressing, a bit heavy on the low end in spots maybe. There really needs to be a vinyl compilation issued for them, like Tell My Sister or some other package. I'd line up on RSD for that.

        One of Kate & Anna's finest! A little too synthetical at times, but at the core a genuinly well conceived idea from start to finish. Title track Love over and over is catchy and upbeat, Sun Son (Shining on the water) goes straight to the heart and St. Valentine's Day 1978 show what Anna really can do when given the chance. A translated version of a Bob Seger hit complete the album, making it suitably well-rounded and adding that extra French-Canadian touch.
