Reviews
- My pressing is absolutely awful, and totally unbecoming of the Deutsche Gramophone legacy. Side 2 in particular has a wheezing bass "throb", the sound of which can only be described as a refrigerator motor. It is so audible in the quiet sections that it completely mars what is actually a fantastic reading of this symphony. Now I know why they included a CD with it.
