Also issued in 1985 on BBC label as 2 track vinyl single. Cat# RESL 178. Cover as for 6 track version, but without the "6 tracks - 19 minutes playing time" banner.

      Side A: Edge Of Darkness
      Side B: Shoot Out

From the soundtrack a 6 episode BBC TV drama 1985.
This is more than just the "Blues". All the tracks are instrumental.
A superb fusion of Michael Kamen's orchestra and Eric Clapton's guitar work at it's very best. It stands on its own as a piece of work, not just a soundtrack. It's powerful, moody and moving, I would love to see this drama repeated on the telly as it sounds even better in the context of the story. All Clapton fans should try to find this record.
