- I lucked out, just picked this up on Amazon UK, my copy is flat and quiet, very few pops or clicks, no distortion, sounds pretty good. I was worried when M83 released Junk, really didn't connect with that album, this is definitely more of a return to familiar huge soundscapes, I'd say it's more in line with their Oblivion soundtrack in that respect. Definitely happy to have in my collection.
- My copy is good - no noise or popping at all. The cloudy pink pressing is pretty unique too and of course the music is incredible.

Does the US pink vinyl come with a digital download as well?
EDIT 12/16/21: Just wanted to say the original vinyl release does NOT come with a DL code, however a new pressing is available for order on Bandcamp starting today (pink galaxy). Hopefully the pressing is higher quality as well. - Edited 4 years agoMy copy is quite flat. However the amount of surface noise is close to being unbearable, especially for ambient music like this. Did anyone listen to the test pressing? I'll try to clean it but I don't think it's the problem... EDIT: I finally brought it back to the store and chose not to take any chance buying another copy.
- This is like the music for a computer game, that does not exist, yet. I say “yet” because I have had an idea for a RPG game that this album could go with. It is called “Taifun’s Quest” and it is about a brave boy called Taifun who has to rescue his mam from the clutches of an evil and manipulative toyboy called Gavin. You find swords and armour, cast magic spells, and speak to friendly dwarves, before finally beating up Gavin by throwing bricks and hammers at him at the end of the game. When you win and complete the game, “Taifun Glory” can play, as you are reunited with your mam, and she gives you some chocolate ice cream as a special reward.
- A bit scratchy at the beggining of sides A and B and the second disc is a tad warped, Music is great though
- This plays perfectly and sounds great but record one is slightly warped. It gets better with every listen though.
- Don't know about anyone else, but my copy of this is so badly dished it's basically unplayable - the records spin around by the label, independently of the platter. Diabolically bad! (Music is good , though!)
- Great anesthetic, wish I could say the same for the pressing. My copy is quite noisy between tracks, hissy and poppy.
It quiets down when the music starts, but it's there.
