Reviews
- Although this is a relatively obscure 1972 release, musically it stands out as being somewhat groundbreaking for the New Age genre or some genre akin 'classical folk fusion' or 'World music' later popularized by Windham Hill Records sound, or the groups Oregon, Shadowfax, etc.. Take a listen to stand out track B1, "Fantasy Fugue"

I grew up in Boise, and Fantasy Fugue got plenty of airplay on the local top 40 station, KFXD. Bought the album and wore it out within a couple of years. I eventually found an import copy at the Record Exchange, which I still have.
Imagine my surprise when, the next year, my junior high English teacher was Mrs. Tompkins, mom of Tim & Tom.
I wish this would get a legit CD release in the USA. I still like it a lot. - Edited 5 years ago

Before Built To Spill there was Providence, from Boise, Idaho. And on the Moody Blues label, no less!! "Fantasy Fugue" sounded good on mixed tapes
