Superb sound throughout this wonderful Elektra pressing
Both sides here are rich, full-bodied and musical . This is a classic Grover Washington album containing the hit “Just The Two Of Us.” I happen to like this record for what it is: good pop jazz.... See full review

My copy, A3 / B3 (variant 6) is just perfect : Like all the best vintage British pressings, the sound is smooth, rich and full. This is Old School ANALOG ! The best track that the early F Mac ever did? Oh, it’s here all right: “Need Your Love So... See full review

The really good RVG pressings (often on the later labels, like this one)) sound shockingly close to live music — uncompressed, present, full of energy, with the instruments clearly located on a wide and often deep soundstage, surrounded by the natural... See full review

The Pretenders - Get Close

after three great albums from the Pretenders, Get Close sounded good but not especially striking, and its hit-and-miss approach, with a few great songs surrounded by lesser material, was something Hynde's fans would find themselves getting used to... See full review

Amazing sound : rich, deep, crisp and dynamic ! It may be a very early repress, with a single cover, instead gatefold; but it has the same A-1 / B-1 matrix .

Apparently--according to Gary Hobish himself--the "GH" commonly found in almost all the "original" (pre-1986) OJC vinyl deadwax was in fact Hobish, and NOT George Horn as is commonly assumed !

mistake ! You have to play the record to know how they sound. Nothing else works, and nothing else CAN work.
