Altın Gün – Aşk

I was just enjoying the perfect sound on this one, then came track A4. Very audible clicks in the first 40 seconds, ruins the song. The record looks flawless, no scuff or scratch that could be source of the disturbance. Anyone else with the same problem?

The band just started the east coast leg of their north american tour - hot fire!!! They had a signed version of this LP last night - look out for it!

It's a great pressing with a dynamic range. Right out of the sleeve, there's some minimal scratching on the clear parts of the disc but quiet down in the colored areas. That's the only problem I have with clear/colored discs. Your best chances of a clean sound are on black vinyl but that's just my opinion based on experience. That being said, the minimal scratches weren't very noticeable at all on my system. The bass is full and loud in the mix. Despite the noise, the record looks beautiful.

Just got it from a local store after debating whether I should spend a little more on a German Glitterbeat pressing via mail order.
As to the pressing - it's quiet, flat, on center, etc. No issues.
The brown paper bag inner is awful. Lucky it did not have time to do damage but the record is going into the wash right away.
I compared the audio vs digital streamed at 96k into my Marantz SA8005 DAC and by and large there is no discernable difference.
I suspect digital and vinyl masters were the same. Possibly it may get a little better after the Disc Doctor record wash but if you have a good quality streaming option most likely you will get the same quality.

Pressing is fine, however the cover is made out of a thin and fragile paper (uncoated and not foiled). Spine arrived with a 5cm split, even though the box was intact. Low quality on the sleeves Glitterbeat.

Sounds excellent on a good system. Definitely agree there’s no noise floor and not a crack or pop to be heard.
I was laughing pretty hard when seeing the paper sleeve.

Perfect mastering, perfect pressing, record in poli-sleeve, great cover. If only more contemporary bands would have their music on such issues

I corrected my entry because the German exclusive press is the same color. I will leave my review here for the quality of this pressing:

PROS
- Very quiet record with almost non existent noise floor
- The record is dead flat
- Mastering is nice, sounds a little on the warm side
- Added bonus of download card

CONS
- God awful brown paper sleeve that looks and feels like it was made from a paper grocery bag from the 50's. This will 100% scratch
the album if you keep using the provided sleeve. I usually cut it and remove the LP without sliding it out, wash it, MoFi poly sleeve
immediately

Feared the worst when this turned up and it had a bit of a glitter in it. Beautiful pressing, dynamic and punchy with very clear separation.
