Sumo Jungle is an absolutely delightful and unique Drum & Bass album. Soichi Terada is a cult figure and for good reason, this album is constantly treating your ears to energetic tunes with creative sampling and intricately composed breakdowns.referencing Sumo Jungle (LP) FER-06873

Last year I read a rumour on the jungle sub-reddit that this being repressed but some of the tunes need to be re-worked due to sample clearance issue. Not sure if any truth in it but would be excellent to have this available again at a reasonable price! - Edited one year ago

don't buy from MEGA-MIX they have tons of sealed copies of this and are attempting to price gouge - damn, is this a remix of the original vinyl version? was hoping to get this on cd but guess i’ll be listening to a vinyl rip…
- This is one of the most underrated jungle albums of all time, and it is one of the albums that MUST be listened as a whole since the songs transition seamlessly! The use of samples, synths, piano riffs/chords, drums, and chopping made and still makes this thing way ahead of its time. Not to mention, this is what made Mr. Terada the composer of Ape Escape, and you can hear some melodies in the game's ost that are reused from the album.

Sounds from the Far East was a phenomenal intro to his work.... the deeper I dive into his music, the more I want! Let's see this repressed!- Edited 9 years ago

Simply outstanding - anyone who considers him/herself a lover/connoisseur of underground music needs to listen to this or better, just buy it. Imagine Native Drums meets Tom Jenkinson meets James Hardway with a dash of Photek - well that's how i'm feeling it but to be honest, its out there like no other.
