A solid album that displays the lyrical skills both Tame One (RIP) and El Da Sensei posses. The production sounds mature compared to the their first album(a backpack classic!!). Favorite tracks are: Art of Facts & The Ultimate (showbiz remix).referencing That's Them (2×LP, Album) 92753-1
How strange... no sales of this for nearly a year from December 2021 until November 2022, then over the course of just a few days, all of a sudden 10 copies bought... Someone making an investment for their retirement ? This album is top notch hip hop but is seldom talked about for an LP that you would not skip out any tracks while listening.referencing That's Them (CD, Album) 7567-92753-2
The fact that Big Beat was still around in 97' and we got a follow up album from the Artifacts is really quite amazing. The two from New Jeru are definitely at the top of their game, and production from Shawn J Period, V.I.C., Lord Finesse, Showbiz, Mr. Walt, etc.is top notch.- another awful cover, why this label thinks is a good idea to recreate cover, is this a graphic art project or a record label? regardless the result is generally awful

A true underground classic! Artifacts came even harder after their last album, and delivered a non stop head banger with some of the most dope lyricism ever heard. Way ahead of its time and criminally underrated.- Edited 6 years ago

This is a CD-R that was manufactured on demand by Amazon due to the original pressing of this album being out of print. Even as a CD-R with reproduced artwork, it may seem like a bootleg but it sure doesn't sound like one. The CD is more than likely sourced from .WAV files since it sounds like a legit CD. If you don't mind getting a decent priced copy of the album don't be afraid to get this, otherwise it's your decision to get the original pressing for a little more money.
Besides that, this album is incredible. It has more depth to it than "Between a Rock and a Hard Place" IMO. The beats have a different feel to them since they aren't laden with samples galore like their debut. They're still excellent by all means, a bit darker sounding and mysterious if I'd say so. My favorite tracks are "To Ya Chest", the Showbiz remix of "The Ultimate", "Collaboration of Mics", "Ingredients to Time Travel", and the "Wrong Side of the Tracks" sequel "Return to da Wrongside". Artifacts are one of my favorite duos of all time, they've always been true to the five elements of hip-hop and its core roots. Cop this album if you find it, no matter what pressing it is. referencing That's Them (CD, Album) 7567-92753-2
