Percy Jones lights it up on this album! And Phil, I can do without 99% of those cringy, melancholy love ballads. Even with your nice voice and pop-appeal, you were an even better drummer. Anyway..the title track sounds like a progressive version of Eno's 'Over Fire Island', on which Percy also plays his fretless bass. It opens with the same beat and time signature--Fire Island was released a year prior on Another Green World. I started listening to my Passport pressing of Unorthodox Behaviour again, after a break of many years, and got into it so much I bought a Charisma pressing to compare. It's Mahavishnu meets Eno! Fusion lovers, don't miss this one.

Can't stop playing this record, might as well glue it to the turntable. O wait, I wouldn't be able to change sides then :-)

Alla faccia di tutto quello che ha poi registrato dall81 in poi qui alla batteria è stratosferico fantastico ed il gruppo è di prim'ordine nei migliori del genere di sempre ...

If anyone thinks Phil is an overrated drummer then I suggest they sit down listen to this album, It contains some of the best drumming put to tape. Also not forgetting to mention the rest of the band too on this superb album are top notch. Percy Jones bass is a revelation. Great production as well and my original copy still sounds awesome on vinyl. Moroccan Roll the follow up to this is almost as good.

Love this Band, but I am VERY partial to the albums/songs with Phil Collins on drums. Phil's approach to these tracks (and anything else he played on) was completely musically unique to him. While the other drummers in this band were technically great, in my opinion, they were not able to bring the tasty musicality to these songs the way Phil did.

The opening stomper "Nuclear Burn" is all you need to hear to know what I am talking about. "Euthanasia Waltz" further solidifies this...and so does the rest of this album.

            RECOMMENDED for jazz-fusion fans.

One of my best sounding LPs. Great punchy sound, strong low end. Love how Collins’ drums are captured, especially during his tom rolls. My only small quibble is that the final track on side 2 is mixed very quietly and quite difficult to hear. Not sure if that was done by design or is an error. Otherwise an awesome sounding album and a must-have for fusion or 70s prog fans.
