Alex G (2) – Trick

Wonderful pressing! If anyone is looking to sell the 7” 45RPM message me :)

Okay so I now have Trick, Rocket and House of Sugar all Lucky Number pressings. My question is, how on earth do they all sound so insanely good? These may be some of the best sounding albums in my collection and I've been collecting for ten years now. I'm honestly shocked. I was a casual fan of Alex G would listen to his music on journeys and what not with headphones. But these pressings are all so perfectly mastered bringing out parts of songs in a way that makes them sound brand new. Truly beautiful stuff, there's a lot of texture in his work that was totally buried in the streaming versions. If you like what Alex G does and you dont own any of his albums on vinyl I cant recommend these pressings enough. I dont think there's any way you could be disappointed. 10/10 pressings.

this sounds leaps and bounds better than id ever imagine. even with people in these comments talking about it sounding wonderful i hedged my bet a bit but my god its like hes performing in my room, definitely pick this up if you are a fan of his.

Sounds good ! No crackles or nothing. perfectly flat... pressing 8/10, not overwhelmly good audio but its expected with a lofi artist such as alex g.

The 7'' is god awful, so many crackling and poping when it plays sarah.
