- Edited one year agoThe two label owners of Canadian-based New Hit Records held a big talent contest which was advertised in papers in Detroit and Windsor, they signed a group called "Astrology" who would later change their name to K.I.C. (Keep It Cool). Both tracks were chosen from a bunch of demos and were recorded at Detroit's Sound Suite Studio, a Westlake designed room with an MCI desk in circa 1978/79. The lead and backing singers consisted of the group Brandye who recorded one album for Florida label Kayvette in 1978.
