I'd still say that's the most likely reason, whether it actually has any effect or not.

My wife watches BB all the time, consequently it's hard to avoid completely. The first celebrity BB was genius with Jack Dee Pwning the show and so was the year that Bez from the Happy Mondays won it, but aside from that, it's usually pretty shite. Saying that, some of this year has been very funny indeed and I have found it strangely addicive again. Probably because it amazes me how low some people will stoop just to get on TV or to stay in the media eye that they ultimately complain about being in.

In the house are, Stephen Baldwin the born again right wing evangelical christian fuckwit who has come out with some absolute pearls of wisdom and classic moments, all stemming from his fuckwittery.

I despise the big brother programme, but i did catch the first episode as i was inthe bath with no remote control so couldn't change. It was really odd the way that none of them seemed to know each other. how do you not know stephanie beecham, you can understand not knowing some of the english ones.

It's a worthy trade off in my book. I just draw the line at X-Factor and Grays fucking Anatomy, so when they are on I slope off quietly somewhere.
