The Stu Allen 93 mix is great. It really reminds me of Tango & Fallout's 'Intrigue'. Is there a connection?

One of the proper bad boy old skool tunes from the master of rave, dj stu allan. it's very repetitive, but goes down like a sledge hammer, and brilliant for doing a bit of fader work. 10/10.

This was the first mix I ever did with Stu. He came down to my studio and knocked this out in a few hours. It was a bit of a favour for him giving me such a good representation on his show but little were we to know how many successful records we'd end up making together.

Totally agree with the comments by oldskool-master about Stu Allan. I listened to Key103 in the early 90's and still have a load of tapes of the show (hardcore and non-hardcore hours). I also have some mixlists sent by Stu himself, these were priceless for trying to get hold of the best tunes, as back then most of the record shops kept the best tunes back for only the elite DJ's and you never got to know they even existed until you heard them in a club or on the radio. Stu is an absolute legend and totally inspired my mixing style and love of breakbeat tunes, that influence is still going strong as nearly twenty years later, I still mix and collect tunes, how many things have that much effect on someone?! As for "Let Me See Ya Move", the original is still by far the best version in my humble opinion. Thanks Stu for a lifetime of "large" tunes....Seeeeee Yaaa.

Had the pleasure of listening to Stu Allan on Manchester radio station Key 103, the guys is a legend!. This is one of his earlier productions and was big on the underground scene at clubs like the Eclipse etc.
The track is a cross between techno/hard house and is slow by todays standards at 125 bpm, the best mix is the remix version with its juno type synth sound and the original mix is good aswell. Also got updated in 1993 into a more hardcore version at 148 bpm.
It was sampled by Tango and fallout on "intrigue"(naughty naughty) and sounds very similar to Malcolm McLaren "magic's back".
The record label is Hypnotic, is this the same Hypnotic who used to do Back To The Oldskool at Maximes in Wigan?. The logos are the same.
                        We salute you Stu.
