Im curious if anyone know's the name of the remix for spiritualized, because it's definitely not the original mix. Great compilation!

        Beautiful package, legendary compilation.

Fun fact; what’s listed as Her Desire by Jupiter is actually Hard Desire.

These albums just. Keep. Getting. Better.
          So far at least!
Both CDs offer up a really nice selection of trance, it appears they've moved away from the more varied previous CD1s which were more warm-up and general dance orientated. CD1 this time opens with some fantastic trance breaks from Hybrid and then moves into more a more progressive deep track before opening up into more general trance with some big hits from that year. After a few usual suspects there is a VERY welcome return of Mea Culpa, who's productions are just ...spot on. There are very few duds on this CD and whilst the mixing is on point it's only real downer is what feels like a slightly disjointed journey. Hardly anything to complain about at all!!
CD2 is on par with CD1, delivering just as many great tracks though I would say certainly leaning toward the harder side of trance toward the end. Again like CD1 I found there to be a bit of a contrast between vibes on some tracks...like going from the brilliant, but deep Spiritualised, into the brilliant, but happy and uplifting Put Me In Heaven With Your Touch. I think when tracks get deep I like to stay in that zone for a while. I think I'd have jigged the tracklist round a little, the trance breaks into the deeper tracks by Mea Culpa, Olmec Heads..then saved the more floorfiller stuff for the other CD - But! Still an awesome album!

Gatecrasher Wet is one of the best albums of all time for me and for good reason, the trance music they include is widely praised. This is the third in the series and the point where I would say they have reached their peak. This level of quality would continue through the next two releases as well. The music is great, and the mixing continues to be top-notch, while eliminating any house music completely.

The first CD is a bit more laid back compared to the second, but still trance in every aspect. This one features absolute masterpieces such as Gamemaster, Liquid, Liberation and The Hymm earlier on. Later on, it gets more serious with two songs I absolutely love: The Child and Pueblo Blanco. Track 14 is one of my favourites, and is a 10/10 for me and the following two - Communication and Heaven just add icing on the cake. What a fantastic CD overall, with very little to complain about.

The second is just as superb, and goes down a harder trance route. Track 2 immediately reminded me that the makers were not mucking around, and sends a shiver! While I enjoyed almost every song, highlights for me include Where Are You by The Generator, Take You There, Everytime by Agnelli & Nelson, the DJ Tandu Remix of I Believe, You Put Me In Heaven With Your Touch, Pulsar and The Orange Theme. There were a couple of songs that I was not too keen on, such as track 5 and Tomorrow. However, the level of quality does not disappoint.

In the end, Gatecrasher Wet ends up being the best in the series up to this point by far. The sheer level of quality was proven time and time again here. I highly recommend this for any trance fan of this era.

If you're looking for trance, start your journey here. I did when I was 12 years old, all of 24 years ago. And I've never looked back. Wet is the gateway album into trance. It will always be with you.

Quite simply, the créme de la créme of trance compilations, Gatecrasher knew exactly what they were doing and I bought many of their compilations when they were released, I still enjoy them to this very day.
Every track sounds as fresh and up-to-date as it did roughly about twenty years ago!
If you are getting into rave/dance/club/trance, etc, music, particularly from the 90s and 00s then get yourself a copy of any of the Gatecrasher compilations and even a copy of Fantazia: Made in Heaven, (not forgetting to mention that there are two versions to lay your hands on!) which is 90s only and full of absolute classics.

Worth the price to own "Silhouette Can't Wait To Find Love (The Thrillseekers Remix)" on vinyl. Amazing trance!

Easily the best Trance album that sums up the late 90s era, every single track fits perfectly into the next, and every single one stands firm on its own, absolutely no filler whatsoever. Truly a masterpiece.

I can't find my copy anywhere, I am gutted!! I bought that in 1999 from Woolworths in Camden alongside the first Euphoria. They were both like £18. That was a lot of money for a 15 year old using his paper round money.
