Reviews
- Amazing live album that sounds incredible! Dr. John sounds and plays so well here along with the band and the song choices are primo. The vinyl sounds truly amazing and perhaps is a direct source recording? Either way, it's some of the best live Dr. John I've ever heard—highly recommended!
- This is the best sounding live album I think I’ve ever heard. It’s got to be in the running for the most underrated records out there. Everyone should have it.
- After a couple of solo numbers to open up this live album, things really get moving as Diz & The Doormen enters the stage and backs the good Doctor for the rest of the set. Too bad it is limited to one LP. The quality of this performance leaves me wanting more as Such a Night ends. At only eight tracks it comes across as a bit short.
