Reviews
- Edited 7 months agoVery good pressing. The mastering is nice and warm, which suits the cozy nature of the music. There is a bit of surface noise here and there, but definitely not enough to negatively impact my enjoyment of the record. Glad I picked this one up
- This is a great sounding press but has some noise in the quieter parts, even after an ultrasonic cleaning. Still very worth picking up if you like this album in my opinion.
- Brought this a few months ago, but haven't posted a review on it. Not the quietest vinyl. My first copy had some non-fill and nasty pops both sides. I exchanged it for the copy I have now. A few ticks and some surface noise here and there, but not terrible. The record is pretty mellow and quiet so any surface noise will make itself apparent.
The music and sound is incredible. Very nice, and clear. The percussion rings and the guitars cut and flow throughout the record with great transparency. - Good pressing imo! Mastering is nice, as mentioned here already. I heard 1 loud pop/click trueout the whole album on the 3th track on the b-side. Great album to enjoy at any moment of your day!
- The mastering is pretty sweet here. Nice and warm, full bodied and organic sound, full bass with plenty of thump. It doesn't sound at all like a modern remaster which I dig. There is still plenty of detail don't get me wrong.
The only aspect in which this reissue lacks a bit is the pressing quality. There is a bit of surface noise evident even after a proper clean but not so much as to detract from the enjoyment. If anything it will make you feel like you're listening to an older and slightly used pressing.. Most annoying thing for me is side A is pressed off centre, curious to hear if anyone else here has the same issue. If it's the stamper itself then probably not much point in trying out a replacement copy...
