Edited one month agoMy copy played very quietly...not perfectly flat but no issues tracking both sides. A quiet triumph for PJ and a bit off the beaten path for those mostly familiar with her early work.
I'm not having any surface noise issues with my copy.- Edited 6 months agoAfter a wet cleaning, my copy still suffers from surface noise and some kind of distortion. Not listenable. Will buy cd instead.
I chose to buy this album on CD. It sounds so amazing on my system that I don’t see how it could sound noticeably better on vinyl.
Flawless pressing. About the music, this is the best album PJ Harvey has made since 2004.
PJ Harvey comes through yet again! What a release; beautifully subtle and nuanced with her signature unique charm.
Such a minimalistic, well thought, gorgeous packaging! Sounds amazing! Well produced & mastered!- How does the MUSIC sound??? Anyone actually pay any attention to THAT??
I'm here to echo CoyoteBP. I don't mind users offering some artistic impressions but I'm mostly here to know if the pressing is of quality. I'm tired of purchasing poorly pressed records so I rely on such info to inform my purchases.
A little warped, but tracks fine, that aside, sonically, it's a delight, no surface noise or pops/clicks.
