that 6 selections by Ella Fitzgerald, accompanied by Dizzy and his orchestra, performed between the quintet and the big band sets, and 2 selections from the big band set - "Yesterdays", a feature for Milt Jackson's vibes, and "I Didn't Know What Time It Was" with vocals by Kenny Hagood - are not included in this album for reasons of technical deficiencies (mostly sung off mike).
