Appears to be pressed on virgin vinyl or possibly Quiex vinyl (can shine a light though it).

This is definitely one of those albums that you can easily get for a couple bucks and wind up being surprised with what you hear.

Revisited this album on a better cartridge than what I had when I first bought this album some years back and was delighted with how well this was mastered - it has a very crisp sound with each instrument being mixed exactly where they should.

This is a superb new wave/pop rock release from The Tubes. Catchy radio singles and clever lyrics. Every song sounds unique, which you don't always get in this category. I hear some power guitar parts from Steve Lukather, which is a good thing. Fee Waybill is the perfect singer for this band, no question.

Love the sleeve art, early '80s corporate marketing concept. Haha.

This early pressing is powerful and clean. It also sounds better when cranked up.

        Recommended.
