Reviews
Solid cut by KG with clear and dynamic sound, but bit of a waste to press these and the Meters reissues at MRP. Gladly would have paid $5 more for each for better quality pressing and cover. Enjoyable to play and I don’t feel ripped off, but all of the set were slightly too majorly warped and I had to return Soul Dressing as it was dished up 1/4”. Doin’ Our Thing does have off center side one and some surface noise but not too bad after ultrasonic wash.
Side one off center. Dang. Really like the other three in the series.
Edited 7 months agoThe other three titles in this bundle sound great. This one is riddled with surface noise throughout both sides. Contacted Jackpot, will update here if they get back to me.
Edit: should add that I'm not talking about any old surface noise, or paper burn from the sleeve or something like that. I have cleaned it over and over but this sounds like a glow in the dark record. Not good.
