"This album, ten months in the making, represents a cultural collision of styles, loosely unified by an emphasis on soundtrack/environmental/"quiet" music. All inclusions are either exclusive to this album or are rare tracks by the artists concerned, but which do not deserve their hitherto obscure fate".

Track A4 was originally released on the compilation cassette Feature Mist in Dec. 1982 on Touch
Track A5 was originally released on Mazowsze - "Mazowsze" Państwowy Zespół Ludowy Pieśni I Tańca in 1959 on Polskie Nagrania Muza.
Tracks A6, B1 and B3 were originally released on the compilation album Hours in May 1982 on Plurex Records.

Track A2 is billed to Clock DVA, but is in fact a track by The Anti Group that later appeared again on Minutes To Go! (1988). Clock DVA was meant to be included on this, but Rough Trade (who manufactured and distributed this release) declined to license the track(s) from major Polydor who owned them at that time. Adi Newton submitted this dialogue piece, a montage via magnetic tape originally for 5 tape recorders and film, performed in Rotterdam and Berlin, 1984. It features eyewitness accounts of JF Kennedy's assassination, dallas 1964, observations by John Cage, Jack Kerouac reading from "Neal And The Three Stooges", Murder Inc. - ex-mafia killers in conversation and a surrealist lecture.

Track A4 published by joeboy music. thank you to "touch" (feature misc).
Track A5 produced and recorded 1959.
Tracks A6 and B1 published by incidental music. A6 is mainly billed to Eric Random with "And His Bedlamites" listed in the annotations.

According to the label owner it only sold 1000 copies when it originally came out.
