Reviews
- A great album and a superb pressing, perfect in every way. What a steal!!! Flat, noiseless and superb audiophile quality.
- Wow wow wow - this has AMAZING sound quality for it`s "lowly price point"!
It`s on 180g flat black virgin vinyl with only some slight "tape hiss" from the analog recording present.
The music as most will know is outstanding with clear & precise musicianship, excellent wide stereo separation & a shed load of texture & ambiance throughout especially the double bass, you can clearly hear the strings bouncing back off the bass fret.
PS.
This sounds as good as most of my blue note classic & tone poets series truly wonderful for the money!

Highly recommended five stars, thank you for reading. - While I would love to have an original copy of this album, I recently settled for this 2012 pressing on 180 gram vinyl from Vinyl Lovers. I see where one other reviewer complained about surface noise, but I am hearing 0 surface noise on my copy, not even between songs. That might also be because I clean my records before spinning. Even brand-new records. While I am still hunting for an original 1959 mono pressing of Time Out, this one will work just fine for the time being!
- Sounds amazing. Truly excellent pressing. Cannot recommend this album enough. Bought it for Take Five, stayed for the whole album.
- Surface noise on side A, particularly noticeable in between songs and quiet passages. The recording doesn’t have a uniform sound, trebles are not present in some passages.
- Sounds great, wax is clean and quiet.
My copy came warped across a half of the record (like a wide semicircle), but that doesn't seem to affect playback. - Sound is amazing.
Release is great. My cpoy has not the 2-page printed insert.
I tought was not official because i didn’t knew “Vinyl Lovers” label and “Photo: X” looks strange. - Edited 6 years agoExcelent sound. Excelent print. Excelent presentation. 5*
˝The release included a 2-page printed insert, advertising the other "Back To Vinyl" releases.˝ I don't find this. Maybe because this is not a "Back To Vinyl" releases.
