Classic tune that just sounds amazing on a big system.
Deep and hypnotic the track just builds and builds, from its simple drum and vocal loops at the beginning, to the synth that builds and is overlaid with the higher pitch riff, topped of with that siren breakdown, the track weaves and morphs using the different elements dropping in and out to great effect. There's plenty of mixes to choose form but its the "Little More Mix" for me. This is a monster of a tune !

Although already loving the original from a year earlier, I heard Pete Tong play the Basement Jaxx mix on the Essential Selection, I was a student in Newcastle (Toon) at the time and walked into the local HMV halfway down the high street and this was sitting on the rack right in the doorway as you walk in...picked it up and bought it (obviously). Its funny, even 20 yeas on as I go through my record collection (2500 and counting) I can recount where and when I first heard and bought nearly every record in there, yet cannot remember where I just put the ipad, feed the kids, or email my poor mum on the other side of the world, who has just emailed me only the day before! Damn you years of clubbing...

After collaboration in a couple releases, Erick was the engineer on ''Hardrive EP'' (1993) & Vega remixed with Morillo his track ''Dancing'' (1994) , they joined forces to make a proper N.Y. underground classic, the Erick's groove, the Louie's Chords, the India sample from River Ocean's Love & Happiness , the tribal beats & some darkness made a Killer Track.

A must have from the Strictly camp, also contains vocal samples from Janis Joplin's Ball & Chain (live '72).

Weird but true – Louie Vega and Erick Morillo in collaboration shocker – only that was six years ago. Back ‘round again after Steven Lee and Albert Cabrera’s re-edit last year became a must have item amongst clubland’s elite spinners. With the siren screecher already big with Danny, Pete and Roger, we should all soon be big havin’ it large with your own local deck general.

One of the best releases on Strictly Rhythm, particularly after a lull in last year or so before this release. Dark hypnotic house music that is brilliantly original and rocks the dancefloor. A fine collaboration between Louis Vega & Eric Morillo.

I remember there was something strange with this one,
and yes, my memory is still a little bit intact :
The Basement Jaxx Mix has no beginning ! As soon as you put the needle into the groove, you hear sounds. If you play it backwards, the sounds go on until the needle drops right off the record. Geddit ? Weird one. Never seen it again since.
