i really enjoy this album but something about this particular pressing makes it a bit tiring to listen to

Little disappointed at some digital distortion on end of side 3 of new pressing
All in all this is a sorely underrated affair. I think what throws people about this album is largely the sequence
Instrumental beginning and end,if you would remove each and combine somewhere inside the sequence the record would be more easily revealed
It is probably because of the era the most digital sounding of the catalog..with outside…
Songs are top notch..jump they say in particular being a lost masterpiece.versions of don’t let me down and Scott walkers night flight are transcendent Tracks like miracle good night are totally innovative in the arrangements and sounds.
Very misunderstood at the time but fermenting as a top drawer wine..don’t undervalue or miss this chapter, a true gem
      Yes there are

I have a 2 CD set of this that I can't find much information about. It seems to be from Taiwan. Cat#: HD-0395. Both CD's are HDCD. CD#1 is regular track list + 5 bonus tracks ("Wedding Song", "Real Cool World", "Lucy Can't Dance", "Watch That Man" and "Panic in Detroit"). Cd#2 is a compilation comprised of 16 tracks. It seems it could be a boot but it has all EMI info on back cover, a bar code and is legit HDCD manufactured. Anyone would have any additional info? Thanks.

I've just spotted a mastering fault around 48" into track 9 [this edition: 74321 13697 2 Europe 1993, Matrix / Run-out: SONOPRESS G-8492 / 4321136972 A]. The sound drops out of the right channel momentarily. Has anyone else noted this? Is it the same on other editions?
I've checked the disc visually and also with Nero ScanDisc and it appears to still be in tip-top condition so I don't think it's physical damage.
I've only had the CD since around 1995. How come it's taken me this long to spot this?

EDIT: I have now checked a contemporary US copy and it has the same "drop-out" [edition: 74785-50212-2, Matrix / Run-out: 74785502122 DISC MFG., INC (H5) W.O.28871-2V]

EDIT: The contemporary Japanese edition (BVCA-612) has the same flaw [Matrix/Run-out: BVCA-612- 1P15 V].
