Mariah Carey – Mariah Carey

No surface noise or anything here. Also the smoke effect is very well done. Yes, while playing it's like a very dark brown record is spinning, but who cares what it looks like while spinning?

I got my copy. Color & effect is not bad as I thought & expected from descriptions. Sheer Smoke can be seen both in the light & in principle, everywhere (even when get out of inner sleeve). Vinyl becomes completely black only when lies on something (sleeve, record player, table etc.). Overall, I'm satisfied & not too disappointed as expected. But there is a small sediment, maybe someday I will same buy Walmart edition.

I ordered two copies, both have a scratch along side B, the tracks do not jump but the sound is awful

Just received mine in the mail and opened it to find a huge scratch through side B. Disappointing!

The colour of the disc is very disappointing. You can only tell it's coloured when you hold it up to the light

Am I the only one who thinks the Mariah Carey on the front cover looks off centre and angled incorrectly? Not sure if it's just my eyes. Pressing sounds good but I think the volume was a bit low as I had to raise it quite a bit

I'm glad the effect isn't identical to the one included with the MC30 box set. Makes both feel a bit more unique, and the effect on this one doesn't look that bad from the other photos.

Mine is so dark it appears black until you hold it up to the light, and only then do you really see the smoke effect. Definitely should have been a regular clear vinyl with dark wisps to create the smoky effect. Very disappointing release.
