In 1968 Walter Carlos released Switched On Bach, and by 1969 Record Companies were realising the commercial potential of the new sounds of the Moog synthesiser, featuring it strongly in classical and pop genres. Listening today, many of these sound gimmicky. Hugo Montenegro was a film composer and managed to integrate the Moog into the arrangements of these songs .The album is very 1969, but has good musical value, beyond what the kitsch cover art suggests.
