Organizing and listing this audiophonic assemblage is a HUGE undertaking!
It's been over 20 years and this is still a work in progress.
Keeping me focused for this long is amazing in it's own right.
It has become painfully apparent that I must thin the herd, considerably.
Therefore I've begun the painful process of releasing excessive dupes and stuff I'm less likely to play again back into the wild. Have officially listed these: Click here to help them find new homes.

Made some substantial progress on 8-Track cartridges after tons of repairs! Nearing the end of these soon I hope.
Realized all the LP's I entered 7+ years ago will need to be rechecked to confirm their pressing plant info.
Back then most submissions didn't even have label images much less pressing plant ID's. <Sigh>

Guilty pleasure and current fixation. The sensation of 100% immersive audio!
I've been rediscovering a multitude of 'lost' surround recording formats out there. The new box set reissues with 5.1 mixes are pretty cool. Started a list for my reviews of items in my collection over here.
[Novelty 45's]
Still have a few hundred more of these that I'm trying to get sorted and entered. Lots of cool obscure 'Dr. Demento' style stuff and worse. Many that are not yet listed here on Cogz.
They recently got pushed together with the soundtracks and kiddie stuff so it's an even bigger mess than before. Started a list for the Novelty stuff found in my collection, so far. Really need a good organizational scheme for these. Any suggestions?
Also started a list for Picture Discs. Will be adding more as I come across them.

WB label design evolution. There have been some solid discoveries confirmed recently.

However, there is still more work to do.
During the transition from the green WB labels to the 'Burbank' (palm tree) design, there were some typesetting elements of the older design that lingered into the newer Burbank style. Most notably the rimtext, placement of the 'STEREO' arc at bottom of labels and the WB shield logo sporting a 'records' banner.
The presence of the Warner Communications "W" logo began appearing on mid 1975 Burbank labels with the older 91505 zip code in rim text. In late 1976 to early 1977 the zip code was changed to 91510 with the change to Capitol pressings.
Here is the current accepted timeline:
1) Old Label (no W), Old Logo. Columbia presses (Around 2nd quarter 1973 to 2nd Quarter 1975)
2) New Label (with W), Old Logo, zip 91505 Columbia Presses (~June 1975 to ~July 1975)
3) New Label (with W), New Logo, zip 91505 Columbia Presses (~Aug 1975 to ~Feb 1977)
4) New Label (with W), New Logo, zip 91510 Capitol Presses (Early 1977 to Aug. 1978)
The white 'lined labels' began appearing in 1978
The 'shadow shield' design began appearing in mid 1983 with Capitol pressings ending in 1986.

Guilty pleasure and current fixation. The sensation of 100% immersive audio!
I've been rediscovering a multitude of 'lost' surround recording formats out there. The new box set reissues with 5.1 mixes are pretty cool. Started a list for my reviews of items in my collection over here.
[Novelty 45's]
Still have a few hundred more of these that I'm trying to get sorted and entered. Lots of cool obscure 'Dr. Demento' style stuff and worse. Many that are not yet listed here on Cogz.
They recently got pushed together with the soundtracks and kiddie stuff so it's an even bigger mess than before. Started a list for the Novelty stuff found in my collection, so far. Really need a good organizational scheme for these. Any suggestions?
Also started a list for Picture Discs. Will be adding more as I come across them.

WB label design evolution. There have been some solid discoveries confirmed recently.

However, there is still more work to do.
During the transition from the green WB labels to the 'Burbank' (palm tree) design, there were some typesetting elements of the older design that lingered into the newer Burbank style. Most notably the rimtext, placement of the 'STEREO' arc at bottom of labels and the WB shield logo sporting a 'records' banner.
The presence of the Warner Communications "W" logo began appearing on mid 1975 Burbank labels with the older 91505 zip code in rim text. In late 1976 to early 1977 the zip code was changed to 91510 with the change to Capitol pressings.
Here is the current accepted timeline:
1) Old Label (no W), Old Logo. Columbia presses (Around 2nd quarter 1973 to 2nd Quarter 1975)
2) New Label (with W), Old Logo, zip 91505 Columbia Presses (~June 1975 to ~July 1975)
3) New Label (with W), New Logo, zip 91505 Columbia Presses (~Aug 1975 to ~Feb 1977)
4) New Label (with W), New Logo, zip 91510 Capitol Presses (Early 1977 to Aug. 1978)
The white 'lined labels' began appearing in 1978
The 'shadow shield' design began appearing in mid 1983 with Capitol pressings ending in 1986.
